Mikey had an idea. Maybe if he hung out with this Melissa he could find out who the phone belonged to. He texted back "Sure. I'll have to check with my parents first though".
"Great, I'll pick you up after school and then we'll meet Tiffany at the mall". Mikey groaned but replied "OK". " Hey dad" he said turning back to the game.
Meanwhile the original owner of the phone, Sarah, was finishing her lunch when she got a text. It was from Jason. She was allowed one friend on her phone. "Hey Sarah, guess what?" Jason said. "Jake found this frog in the playground at lunch".
Normally Sarah would have been disgusted by this but instead she replied "Oh cool. I wish I was with you guys". A loud cheer came from the cool table and Sarah looked up. Biff had just tripped up a nerd and everyone was laughing. Sarah wished she could join them. Not because she loved Biff anymore but because she thought he was cool. The bell rang indicating lunch was over and Sarah headed to her next class.
Jon meanwhile stepped out of the girl's bathroom having made up his mind...
