Linda blinked. "Umm...oh, what?" she said, distractedly. Her own voice was starting to scare her. "Oh, never mind". She said. "Listen your, err, mother suggested that I hang out with you seeing as we're both at home. So, what do you want to do?"
Mikey thought for a moment and then replied "How about Mario kart?" Linda nodded and Mikey excitedly set up the Wii. He quickly forgot about the phone as they sat down to play.
Normally Mikey always chose to play as Mario but for some reason this time he decided to play as Princess Peach. He found that he quite liked her dress and the way her hair was styled. Linda noticed the character choice but decided not to say anything and then tried to find a character of her own. Once Linda had chosen her character Mikey started the race.
The father and son were having a great time and had forgotten about their problems until Mikey's phone buzzed again. This time the message wasn't from Biff.
