At the same time, Sally was becoming worried about her mother. She was acting a bit strange. She hoped it was just a phase she was going through.
Sally finished her breakfast and then looked at the clock in the kitchen. "Ok honey" She said to Sharon. "Time for work". "K!" Sharon said happily. She got up from the table and ran to collect her keys. She briefly wondered where this rush of energy had come from. If she thought hard enough she would have realised that she was behaving like Sally usually would.
Sally took her time leaving and on the way to the front door she picked up a handbag and hung it on her shoulder. "Honey, what happened to your hair?" Sally asked as she caught up with her mother. Sharon looked in the mirror on the wall. Her hair was styled the way she normally did. "What's wrong with it Sally?" She asked confused. "Come here and let me fix it". Sharon felt compelled to obey her daughter so she approached Sally and then bent down so she could reach.
When Sally had finished, Sharon looked in the mirror again. She gasped. Her hair was now tied into pigtails. Sharon looked back at Sally and that was when she noticed it. Sally's hair was now tied into a professional bun. "Come on" Sally said "let's go".
