The smell coming from the kitchen as Linda entered was incredible. Which worried Linda, Roger was a terrible cook so either Roger had secretly been taking classes or they had now traded culinary skills. "Morning honey" Roger said greeting his wife once he noticed her. "Since when do you know how to cook?" Linda asked peering over Roger's shoulders at the pancakes that he was making. Roger stopped what he was doing and turned to face her, his arms across his chest. "Honey. I've always cooked. You didn't seem to complain about that the meatloaf that I made last night." "But I cooked that!" Linda insisted. Roger laughed "You? No offence honey but you're terrible at cooking. It's a disaster every time you come in here". "I guess that you think I'm wearing your robe as well now?" Roger suggested. It was only then that Linda noticed that Roger was wearing her pink bathrobe. Linda looked down at herself and saw that she was now wearing his. "Actually honey. You are" Linda said. "What's going on?" Both Linda and Roger turned towards the voice to find their daughter Zoe entering the kitchen. "Your mother seems to think that I'm wearing her bathrobe and that she can cook." Zoe burst out laughing as she sat down "Yeah right mom" she said "Your cooking is awful." "Whose cooking is awful?" Karyn asked as she entered the kitchen and sat down next to Zoe.
"Mom's" Zoe replied. "Oh yeah" Karyn replied. "Remember last year at thanksgiving when dad was ill and you offered to cook? We had to evacuate the house because you nearly burnt the kitchen down." Roger, Zoe and Karyn all laughed but Linda looked confused. "But that was dad, not me" She said. "Honey are you feeling all right?" Roger asked her concerned. He grabbed the phone in kitchen. "Perhaps I should ring the office and tell them that you're not going in?" He started dialling the number. "Wait what?" Linda asked confused. Now it appeared that they had switched jobs. Linda had Roger's job and Roger was the housewife. "Why don't you go back to bed dear? I'll bring you your breakfast in a bit" Roger suggested. Linda nodded still confused but glad that she wouldn't have to face doing Roger's job at least not today. Karyn watched her mother leave with a puzzled look on her face. "What's wrong with her" She thought. Perhaps she had memory problems like amnesia Karyn thought. But then people with amnesia don't remember things happening differently. Perhaps she should mention this to Jon. Karyn finished her breakfast and then left for school.
Meanwhile elsewhere in town someone else was having a very weird morning.
