"I wouldn't mind hanging out with a few of your friends. If you know what I mean" Karyn said winking at Jon. Jon tried to workout what she meant but then he realised "Eww, Karyn. You're a girl". "So? Heather's pretty hot". "Kids! Dinner's ready!" Karyn's mom shouted. Relieved o have the subject changed, Karyn and Jon headed downstairs. "This'll be interesting" Jon thought.
Dinner turned out to be a little awkward for Jon. His family talked about the usual things only this time Jon wasn't a part of the conversation. He felt a little left out. When his family did talk to him they asked him things like they would to Karyn. They asked him about school and Linda had asked him how his mother was. "Oh, she's fine" on replied hoping that he wouldn't have to go into anymore detail.
Once dinner was over Jon reluctantly said goodbye to his family and Karyn and then he headed back to Karyn's (now his) house. When he got home he couldn't find a key so he knocked on the door. His new mom opened the door. "Hi honey" she greeted "did you forget your key?" She asked. Jon nodded as he entered. "Hey mom? I'm rather tired, so I'm going to bed OK?" His mom nodded and Jon went upstairs. Fortunately he had been to Karyn's house a few times and knew where her bedroom was. Jon slipped into a nightie and climbed into bed.
Meanwhile back at the Gibson house Linda was getting ready for bed. As she entered the master bedroom she noted that her husband was in the bathroom. Linda opened her wardrobe to pull out a nightie when she could find any. "Please, not again" She thought to herself as she searched the bedroom. Opening a drawer she found a pair of Roger's pyjamas. She picked them up holding them in front of her. Sure enough it looked like they were made to fit her. Linda groaned as Roger came out of the bathroom wearing one of her nighties.
"What's the matter honey?" He asked. "You don't see it do you dear?" Linda replied. "See what?" "These are your pyjamas" Linda seriously. "Not this again honey" Roger sighed. "Look, it's late and I'm tired. Let's just go to bed and then we'll talk about it in the morning OK?"
