"So?" Karyn asked. "I've always been taller than you. Or is this something else that's changed?" "Yep. I used to be taller than you." Jon confirmed. "Interesting" Karyn said. "I wonder why the wish didn't work though." Jon thought about it. "Maybe it has something to do with my original wish". "What do you mean? You used my stone?" Karyn queried. "Well sort of" Jon started to explain. "Before I made the wish this was my house and that was my stone." Karyn started to say something but Jon interrupted her "Let me finish. I wished that something interesting would happen. At first it seemed that nothing had happened but now it seems that this is the cause of me swapping things with you."
Karyn sat on her bed for a moment taking it in before replying "So you wished for us to start swapping?" "Not directly" Jon replied. "So I guess there's no way to make it stop" Jon finished as he sighed defeated. "Not necessarily" Karyn said "There might be a way around it. We just have to think of a way to word it". At that point Linda poked her head around the door. She seemed to have collected herself a bit since they last saw her. "Honey, dinner will be ready in 10 minutes. Will Jon be joining us?" Jon looked at Karyn. "Erm sure" Karyn replied. Linda nodded in response and closed the door behind her. "I guess we'll have to talk about this later" Karyn said. "You'd better ring your mom and let her know that you're staying over. Jon nodded and pulled out his cell phone, noting that it was now the one that Karyn used to have.
