The stone flashed granting Jon's wish, Jon sat there for a few minutes waiting for something to happen. It seemed that nothing happened so Jon started to relax when his phone started to ring making him jump. Grabbing his phone Jon saw that the caller was Karyn "Hey Karyn" he said "Hi Jon, I was thinking. I think I've come up with a way to reverse my wishes." Karyn replied "That's cool, but listen I kind of made a bad wish just now." Jon said "What did you wish for Jon?" Karyn asked and Jon explained to her the wish that he had just made. "Wow that was dumb Jon." "I know" Jon sighed "but I wasn't thinking. Anyway it doesn't look like anything has happened yet so I just wanted you to know so that you can keep an eye out for anything interesting." Jon explained "Well I don't know how good I will be seeing as I didn't hear the wish but I will try and keep an eye out. See you tomorrow at school." Karyn said "Yeah OK and thanks, bye." Jon hung the phone up and then turned on the TV in his room.
Meanwhile across town a couple had just entered a building, that couple was Charles and Suzan McMillan (Sarah's parents). "Couples therapy?" Charles asked his wife "Why are we here honey? I thought things were great between us." "They are" replied Suzan "but lately we've grown a bit distant and I thought that this could maybe help spice things up." "I told you before, things at work have been busy lately and I haven't had as much time as I would like to spend it with you." Explained Charles "I know sweetie, let's just see what the Dr has to say first. It can't hurt to get a little guidance can it?" "Fine" Charles sighed "Let's go see what this Dr has to say."
After signing in for their appointment the McMillans were then shown to the Dr's office, when they entered they saw an older man in a white lab coat sitting at the desk. He got up to greet them "Good evening" the Dr said "I'm Dr Jackson and I shall be your therapist for the evening, please take a seat." The McMillans introduced themselves and then sat down. The doctor asked them what seemed to be the trouble and Suzan explained how they had grown distant and how Charles didn't seem to appreciate what she did around the house anymore, Charles started to interrupt at this point but Dr Jackson put his hand up to quiet him and let Suzan finish her story. Once Suzan had finished Dr Jackson looked at the notes he had been taking while Suzan was talking then looked up and said "Well from what I've heard, it seems that you two have communication problems. Perhaps if I subscribe the both of you to some hypnotherapy sessions it might help you to understand each other better." "Hypnosis?" Charles asked "Now hang on Doc, isn't that a little extreme?" "While I can understand your worries Mr McMillan, I can tell you that this type of treatment works. I've recommended it to a lot of my patients and they have been extremely happy with the results. So shall we get started?"
Once both the McMillans had agreed to the procedure Dr Jackson took out a pocket watch from inside his lab coat and proceeded to put them under. What the doctor hadn't told the McMillans was that he liked to preform experiments on people under hypnosis and that he had hypnotised all of his patients to be happy with the results and recommend his practice to other people. After an hour Dr Jackson brought the couple out of hypnosis. "Right" the doctor said "That's all for this session, remember to book your next session for next week with the receptionist outside." The McMillans got up and thanked the doctor for his help and left the room. Dr Jackson smiled as while they were leaving Suzan had put her hand on her husband's bottom as she gave him a little push outside the door
