They hurried upstairs to the bathroom to wash up and on the way down Mikey knocked on their sister Zoe's door and called "Zoe. Food." At dinner the two boys were quiet, making the minimum amount of conversation while their parents chatted and their sister rolled her eyes. When they'd finished, Jon went to get up but was stopped by their father.
"Manners young man," he said sternly.
"Sorry dad," gulped Jon, "Please may I be excused? I, uh, I've got homework to do and umm, Mikey promised to help me."
"Sure thing champ," nodded their dad, "And Michael - don't do it all for him or he'll never learn."
"Umm, yeah, sure thing dad," nodded Mikey, playing along, "Err, c'mon Jon. Umm, let's try and get it done quickly...umm...you know...umm...before bedtime?"
Jon nodded and hurried out the room and upstairs, Mikey following right behind them. They hurried into Jon's room and were shocked by what they saw. The room no longer looked like a teenager lived there, but rather looked more like Mikey's one. They glanced at each other and guessed that a similar change had happened in Mikey's room as well. Carefully stepping over discarded transformers and GI Joes, Jon took a seat on the bed and Mikey on a chair at Jon's desk.
"So, what's going on Jon?" asked Mikey.
Jon bit his lip and decided to tell Mikey everything. "I have a magic rock," he said, taking the stone out of his pocket "And I think I accidently wished us to swap lives." He set the stone down next to him to avoid accidentally wishing something else up.
"I don't believe you," replied Mikey, crossing his arms.
Jon sighed and picked up the stone. "I wish I was wearing a Captain America tee-shirt."
Mikey's jaw dropped as before his eyes Jon's shirt became blue and the Green Lantern Corps logo became a picture of Captain A,Erica throwing his shield.
Jon set the stone down again and said "Yeah, I have a magic rock. problem is wishes can't be unwished, so I think we're stuck like this."
"So everyone thinks you're the little brother and I'm the big brother?" asked Mikey, eye's going wide.
"Yeah," sighed Jon.
"Wait," said Mikey, "You wished that all of our classes would switch. Does that mean everyone in both our classes have switched the same way?"
