Karyn had been perusing her dresser drawers far longer than she'd intended. It was just too much to believe. Sure, she'd wished for long blonde hair and bigger boobs, like Sarah's, and obviously it'd made her bras bigger. But she hadn't expected the wish to nearly triple her bra collection. Now there was an entire drawerfull of bras she'd never seen before - in far more styles and colors than she'd ever seen before.
She was taking her time browsing through them just to keep her mind from wandering. She hadn't heard from Jon since yesterday - she was just hoping he was trying to figure out how to fix her predicament with the stone. As her mind drifted to that thought, her phone began to ring. She dashed over to where it sat, hopeful - until she saw the number. Not even a local area code. "Damn telemarketers," she sighed, dismissing the call. "What the hell are you up to, Jon?" She debated calling him, but instead went back to inspecting a particularly lacy number. It didn't look all that comfortable.
Suddenly, her phone chirped again - this time signaling a text message. She glanced at the screen. The same number, but the message made her do a double take.
>Karyn, it's me Jon! I need your help!
Karyn's heart jumped a bit.
>Jon?? Whose number is that?
>I don't know! Mine I think. Or, this person's. Where I woke up. I don't know how. I need you to get the stone from my house!
>Jon... you're not making any sense! What person? Where are you?!
There was no response. Karyn stared at the phone for a good ten minutes waiting. She was about to dismiss it all as some weird prank when the phone buzzed one more time. This time there was a picture.
>Karyn. I don't know how it happened, but I woke up in this body. In a huge house. I don't even know where it is.
A day ago Karyn would've rolled her eyes and blocked the number. But now she was frantically dialing it. An unfamiliar voice answered.
"Karyn, it's me!" the breathy, feminine voice said.
"Jon!? What the fuck? Did you wish for this?"
"No! One minute I was in my room, and the next it was morning and I was waking up in this chick's bed!"
"Where?!"
"Some kind of mansion. By the looks of things it's nowhere near where we live. This place is huge. I guess I'm rich now."
"But how!"
"I have no idea! But I've looked everywhere and the stone isn't here. I think it's still at my house. You need to go over there and get it."
Karyn was still stunned. She knew now that powerful magic existed, but this... this still didn't make any sense.
"Karyn, are you still there??"
"Yeah Jon I just... you don't sound like you!"
"I don't look like me either! This is all really fucking weird. If you can just get the stone back we can figure this all out. I don't know where I am but it's too far to do anything!"
"Alright. I'll go. But wait a second."
"What?"
"You said you woke up in this woman's bed, right?"
"Yeah."
"Were you wearing that outfit?"
"No, I just put it on. I like the plunging neckline. I think it looks pretty fierce with the stitching in the skirt... wait a second... what the hell??"
"Jon I think there's more going on here!"
"You think!? Hurry and get the stone! I just realized I've got a date to get ready for!"
Karyn was about to say something else when the line clicked dead. She wanted to call back and get more answers, but realized the only thing that could help them now was that damn stone. She rushed out the door.
