"Screw this," snapped Biff, "Let's get outta here!"
"And go where?" sneered Trevor, "Do you even know where we are?"
Biff bristled but couldn't answer. Rolling his shoulders he eventually said "Well someone here must know - what about the other kids that were brought here? Some of them must know. Or some of those suits must still be around." He marched over to the door and grabbed the knob, but it was locked. Grunting, he put his shoulder into it but to no avail.
"Give it up lunkhead," smirked Trevor, "They obviously don't want us to leave."
Jon nodded "All this is too elaborate for them to be okay with us just going as we please. Remember they said we get free reign of the house tonight, not free reign of the town."
"Maybe we can call someone," suggested Sarah, drying her eyes "We could call our parents."
"And say what?" Sighed Karyn, "We can't ask them to come and pick us up if we don't know where we are."
"Any got their phone with them anyway?" asked Jon, "I think I left mine at home." They all stared at one another, each realising that somehow they too had forgotten their phones.
"Let's just explore the house," suggested Karyn, "Maybe there will be clues as to what is expected of us."
"At the very least we can see what the bed situation is," nodded Jon, "Don't know about you guys but I'm getting tired." The other four mumbled their consent and as a group they headed upstairs. Without thinking they each chose a different room to investigate; Jon and Karyn taking the nondescript door at the far end of the hall, Biff taking the door next to it with a pink plaque that said 'Brittany' in cutesy letters, Sarah taking the room opposite that one with a 'no girls allowed' sign hanging on it and Trevor taking the door next to the stairs with a pennant of what they all guessed was the local high school on it.
