Zoe snickered and offered him a slice of bacon. He had to resist the temptation to take it with his hand and forced himself to take it like a dog would. His sister smiled, glad that he wasn't resisting. She patted him on the head and tucked in to her breakfast.
"So if I'm your pet now, does that mean I no longer go to school?" he asked, waiting for another scrap.
