"Xenia," sighed Jon, "I'll be Xenia from now on."
"Aww thank you," Zoe grinned, scratching him behind the ear. He blushed, enjoying it.
"So what now?" he asked, "I guess I don't go to school any more. Do I stay here all day waiting for you to return?"
She smiled, picking at her breakfast. Cutting off the fat from her bacon, she tossed it to him and he reflexively snatched it out of the air and chewed it down quickly. "Well I could leave you alone, but I was considering using my magic to skip school to spend some quality time with you." She shrugged chewing thoughtfully on her toast. "Tell you what, I'll think on it in the shower and let you know." She munched down on some more bacon and smiled. "Here, you can finish this," she smiled, setting the plate down on the floor. "Remember," she added as she grabbed a towel, "Dogs don't use their paws."
Jon sighed and bent down, deciding to chow down while he had the chance.
