Jon leapt down into the garden of the house that backed onto his. Part of him worried the spell would wear off and the neighbour would rush out and chase him off as a weirdo, but the rest of him wanted to test this new life.
On all fours he stalked over to their pond and looked down. His reflection was still that of a catboi, but that wasn't what he was looking at. He watched the fish swimming and licked his lips. Slowly he raised one hand, halving it above his head, watching the fish going round and round.
Lightning fast he struck, grabbing a fish. He was so shocked by his success that he nearly dropped it back in. Quickly he grasped it with too hands and sat down, cross legged. Licking his lips he stared at his catch. Could he bring himself to eat it?
