"I don't believe you," he snapped, pushing her aside. Rushing down stairs he called out "Mom, look what Zoe did to me."
He rushed into the kitchen and his mother turned smiling.
"Morning Jonny," she smiled petting him, " Bet you're hungry, hold on a sec and I'll put some food down for you." Jon stood there open mouthed. Zoe was right, he was being treated like a regular cat. He watched as his mother opened a tin of cat food and put it in a bowl for him, wondering why she couldn't see the real him if all witches could; did witchery skip a generation, or was it from his father's side of the family?"
"There you go," his mother smiled, putting the bowl on the floor, "Eat up."
"You've got to be kidding me," he said, staring at her in shock.
