"What?" Jon said. "What sort of question is that?" Steve Farber was one of the worst jerks on the football team, and a notorious, unrepentant womanizer. His idea of a good woman would no doubt be chauvinistic and shallow. Karyn, meanwhile, was his best friend. He trusted with, and usually agreed with, her opinions, and she generally had very good taste in people. If he were someone she hated, he would be someone like Sarah McMillian. Or worse. Neither were very appealing options.
"Who is this from, anyways?" Jon asked, checking the number. Not only did he not recognize the number, but every time Jon read it over, the numbers seemed different. Bizarre. Was this the stone's doing? Maybe he was just remembering it funny.
Hitting reply on his phone, Jon sent back a text to this mystery player who are you? Jon waited for a couple minutes, but no reply came. Curious, Jon decided he might as well answer the question posted. Maybe whoever was playing this game might reveal who they are after he answered.
