This person in particular was Emily Simms. There was nothing really special about her or anything that made her stand out against the rest of the high school crowd. But she had a small group of friends and like most teenage girls, she liked to gossip. And that's what she was doing right now on the phone, talking to her closest friend Ashley Kerns.
"Can you believe that?" Emily asked over the phone.
"No, I can't," Ashley answered.
"But it's totally true. God, could you imagine what it'd be like if ..." she started, not knowing that the hypothetical scenario she was about to describe would become real.
