The bus ride home felt like an eternity, the warm weather, combined with lack of air conditioning was bad enough.
But the new, unfamiliar feelings from the swap made it far worse for both Jon and Karyn.

Getting off at the bus stop provided some much needed relief. The trees that lined the streets had kept the area pleasantly cool.
"So glad to get out of that oven on wheels" sighed Jon.
"Couldn't agree more" replied Karyn. "Now its just a couple of blocks to your house.", she said, turning to look down the street.
Athena spoke up, "Me and Zoe are gonna head over to my house, catch ya later, nerds.".
"That was rude" said Mikey, after the two had walked out of earshot.
"Yeah" said Jon, placing his hands on his hips, not realising how feminine this stance made him look. "Let's get home and cool off."

Arriving back at Jon's house, there was noone home. His parents had left for a cruise the night before, and wouldn't be back for 2 weeks.
Making their way through the house, the three put their bags down in the hallway and went into the kitchen.
"Who wants an ice cold cola?" asked Jon. "Don't bother answering, I know you both do" he said, opening the fridge door.
Peering back around the door, Jon looked towards Karyn, "There's only two left. You don't mind Pepsi do you Karyn?" he said with a smirk on his face, knowing fully she hates Pepsi.
Frustration shot across Karyn's face as she started pacing towards Jon.
"Hah! Gotcha" smiled Jon, "There's like ten cans in here".
"How do I fall for that every time" said Karyn, taking a can from Jon.
The phone started ringing and Mikey shot up out of his chair "I'll get it" he chirped.
A few seconds later, Mikey was calling from the hallway, "I'm going over to Billy's house", then the front door slammed shut.
"Suppose its just us two now Jon-boy" said Karyn
"Seems that way" said Jon, "Lets go get the stone."
