Zoe had come down with the attractive black woman. Once again, shock seemed to overcome Jon and Karyn.
Zoe was still Zoe...except her skin was now dark--though she maintained all her other features. The African American woman now had Zoe's pale skin.
Zoe smiled. She actually seemed pleased with the change.
"This is awesome!" She exclaimed.
"You certainly did better than me!" Athena told her.
"I don't get it, Zoe." Jon asked her, "You used to freak out at even getting a tan. But now your skin is so dark!"
"Tans are so lame and preppy, Jon!" Zoe shot back, "But this is beyond tan! This is like the ultimate goth!"
Jon rolled his eyes.
