Jon looked out of his window which was adjacent to the backyard and saw a light that seemed to be get bigger. As he stared at it, he realised that it was getting bigger because it was getting closer. As it was about to crash, he ducked, but after a minute of seemingly no crash, he got up and went outside.
On closer inspection, it appeared to be a glowing sphere that was bigger than him. "What is that?" he thought, as walked over towards it. There was a brief flash, and where the sphere originally was, there was now a small metallic ball on the ground.
Cautiously, he bent over to touch it. After nothing happened, he picked it up and brought it into his room. As soon as he put it down, the ball glowed a bit, and a light shines out of it and went over him.

"What?"

Then there was a flash of light before he blacked out.
