Ultimately, Karyn decided to hold back for now. There was something altogether a little too creepy about the other woman. It wasn't Jon. Okay, they knew that much, but that wasn't a lot to go on? Was this some kind of Jekyll and Hyde deal that they had going? Was she just a reflection of some other aspect of Jon's personality, or were they dealing with something different? That brought to mind another troubling question; how powerful was this wishing stone of Jon's? If the woman sitting on the sink and clutching the rock wasn't Jon, or an aspect of his personality, then what was she? Did the rock have the power to bring a new entity into existence? Was that even possible. If it were some other person in there, somebody who already existed, they'd more likely be freaking out and asking questions right now. She seemed far too collected and in control for that to be the case. So who, or what was she exactly?
The brunette tilted her head and gave Karyn a questioning look, "Something troubling you? You seem distant." There was a disturbing edge to her voice.
"No, I'm fine," she said, trying not to sound nervous. "Just thinking."
The other woman nodded her head, but her eyes carried a look of doubt. "Well, we should put a stop to that." She bounced down off of the sink and walked by Karyn and into the bedroom. "I think I need a name," she said finally, as she sat down cheerfully on the bed. "I obviously can't go by Jon when I'm like this."
Karyn nodded, trying to force herself into a smoother tone. "What did you have in mind?"
"Alicia, I think," she said. "Now, we should go out and do something. I'd rather not spend the entire night sitting here and talking."
The blond was tired. She really just wanted to go to sleep. They had class in the morning, and it might only be the second day but she didn't feel like drifting through it like a zombie. On the other hand, how could she leave this girl Alicia alone? What if she did something stupid? She knew about the rock and how it worked. More importantly, she was worried that Alicia might do something that might harm Jon. She would have to stick with this then. It was either that or try and get the stone now, but that didn't seem very likely. She just had to last the night. As soon as Alicia went to sleep, Jon would be back. Then they could fix this.
"Alright," she relented, sliding down the doorframe until she was sitting on the floor, "What do you want to do?" She stifled a yawn.
"Well," Alicia said, "I've been thinking about it and I've always wanted to "
