“. . . you to the village,” the man grabbed hold of her arm and lifted her onto his horse. “Don’t worry to ride is short and I think you will enjoy it. My name is Sir Jack.”

Sitha started to protest but the knight had already coaxed his horse into motion. She had been hoping to arrive in town unnoticed but she didn’t think the knight was going to listen to any further arguments. The warrior often wondered how the metal-clad warriors became of how certain of their every decision they were. Was it the heavy armor they wore or some sort of training they received? This knight hadn’t even asked for her name as if all that mattered was his own.

The garments she was wearing needed to be traded in for something better because her chest was bouncing around like a couple of boulders tumbling down a hill. The knight grabbed hold of her chest crushing her body against his. It stopped much of the jiggling but it upset her because it seemed like he wasn’t doing it for her safety. Several of the other knights were laughing at her plight which caused her face to burn.

Anger started to swell in her that this person was having fun at her expense and she didn’t like it. A voice whispered inside her mind that she should teach the knight some manners. As the dirt road changed into a cobblestone road and the village came into view she decided she had had enough and leaped off the horse shoving the man’s arm aside.

Sitha spun towards Sir Jack and grabbed his foot and jerk it up and over the side of the horse. The force of gravity did the rest and sent the man tumbling to the ground in a loud clattering sound that started to be drowned out by the laughter of his companions. Sir Jack didn’t find it as funny as the rest of the knights as he lifted his mud covered faceplate to reveal a nearly purple with anger face but Sitha had no sympathy for him.

“A knight should act like a knight if I had to guess from your behavior I would say you are an ass,” she said with a cold stare. “It is rare to see an ass ride a horse but the amusement has worn thin I think I have had enough of your company. I suggest we avoid each other for the rest of our time in the village.”

The words didn’t seem to be her own and that worried the former lizard-man. Was he losing his mind as well as his body? The thought scared her but she would leave it for later because she had a dangerously angry knight in front of her to deal with. Most of the companions were still laughing at their friend and had failed to notice the deep anger so she doubted she could depend on their assistance in the matter.
