Sorry if my episode was hard to understand. I couldn't quite formulate what I was thinking into words. I meant that the device works like this: Jerry flashes it at them and they become completely susceptible to his commands. Whatever he tells them to do or think, they believe that it's their own idea or memories. But there is no sharing of the "delusion" between people who have been flashed by the device. So, if Jerry wanted everyone he has used the device on to believe the same thing, then he'd have to go to each person individually and tell them the same thing over and over, instead of just telling one person and having the rest of them affected too even though they aren't there. It would be sort of like them being linked together in some way. So, if he told Linda/Pussycat that she was a slut, then everyone else who's affected by the Hypno Flash would also think she's supposed to be a slut ... but as it is right now, the Hypno Flash can't do that.
In the episode I wrote, I was trying to convey the fact that Jerry was hoping to upgrade the device at some point, allowing him to do that. Down the line, this would give authors the chance to do an upgrade of the story, sort of like a Hypno Flash 2.0, or something. But right now, it's not that easy for Jerry. That's why he feels annoyed.
