Moments later, the man that Bud and Matt were hitting on - Edgar Sherman (of "Sherman and Fiennes", the law firm) - walked out of the women's apparel shop wearing what he thought was an appropriate outfit for him: a white blouse with a low neckline so that he could show off a bit of his chest (it never harmed anyone to show off a little skin, especially when you're trying to get on someone's good side), a black pinstripe skirt suit, pantyhose (which did not look good, with his hairy legs) and black 3-inch heels. While he was in the shop, he also put on some make-up. A little lipstick, some eyeliner and eyeshadow. For some reason, he forgot to put it on that morning.
He didn't know why he had those man's clothes on (and why he didn't notice until just now), but he quickly put it all behind him. He had to get to the office.
As Edgar made his way along the street, it would be an understatement to say that people noticed him. And at least a few of the people commented out loud about what a weird cross-dressing freak he was. And when that happened, they too were affected by this "cursedressing" phenomenon.
