The train continued onward. Zoe woke up the next morning with a pain in her arm. The woman next to her, one of the few women who seemed to be in her forties, had fallen asleep with her head on Zoe's shoulder. Zoe gently moved her off. The train stopped about half an hour later. One or two of the cars were unloaded. We're not all getting the same punishment, Zoe thought. But why are we being separated? Is it to keep us in groups to small to fight back? Or are they giving us punishments appropriate to the person? She figured the former, as the girls were being unloaded by whole cars, the groups possibly picked out along the alphabetical order they were originally loaded onto the train in the first place. The woman next to her had woken up without Zoe's knowledge. She quietly started sobbing again.
There was a sign that said 'Sex Slaves' on it. Some of the girls started wialing at the sight. They were gagged to prevent further outbursts. "Shut up, you bitches!" yelled a guard. "You deserve what you're getting!"
So, some of us are getting sold into sex slavery, thought Zoe. But not all of us. I wonder what I'll get? Could it really be worse than being a sex slave?
The train started up again. It made several more stops that day. There were signs like 'Submissive Housewives' and 'Special Pregnancies Division' (Whatever that means, thought Zoe). Again groups of sobbing girls were herded off. Finally, late that afternoon, with most of the girls offloaded, they arrived at a final destination.
