If Jay was a nerd, like Shawn's dream suggested, then maybe Shawn could get through to him, tell him who he's supposed to be. Because if they lost themselves in this new life, without remembering who they were supposed to be, then The Cloud would have won.
Shawn made his way through the halls until he reached the gymnasium area. Jay was a football player and from what Shawn knew, he was usually found in the weight room before school started. He guessed that being a jock, he had to keep his image up, stay sexy and whatnot. A flash of memory shot through Shawn's mind, seeing the jock from his dream - Biff Meadows (which Shawn deduced was Buffy McMillan, in the other reality). Shawn watched through Sarah's eyes as Biff took off his shirt. He felt Sarah's delight at seeing his muscular body and almost felt sick. Shawn may have been socially inept, but he was still only interested in girls, even if most weren't interested in him.
He shook his head, clearing his mind of that disturbing memory, then headed into the weight room.
Jon was planning on tailing Kyla, but after hearing her discussion with that nerd (who was Sarah McMillan, believe it or not!), he decided to follow the nerd instead. And their destination turned out to be the weight room. Jon wondered why the "male Sarah" was heading there. The boy obviously looked like a nerd, part of the "loser" crowd. And the weight room was one of the last places people like that went. So why was he going there?
