Karyn was putting stuff in her locker when she heard the sound of Buffy McMillan screaming. That was unusual in itself. Everyone turned to see the normally shy and timid Buffy yelling at ... Jay Duncan?
"Just ... leave me alone!" Buffy screamed, running toward the bathroom.
Jay looked particularly confused by this, as did ... well ... everyone else.
Karyn had always been friendly with Buffy, even though they weren't in the same circles. She headed toward the bathroom to see what this was all about.
Jay was even more confused. He'd given Buffy a lift to school, and ...
Elsewhere, Kyla was pissed. She'd expected Jay to come pick her up (even though she lived within walking distance of school and they were currently fighting). She had never officially broken it off with him.
She walked the few blocks to school, looking livid. Shawn Meadows spotted her as he entered. "At least," the nerd thought. "Things are back to normal ... well, except for the people who got changed."
