"Nadine?" her boyfriend said, staring at her with stunned eyes. "It happened to you too?"
"Happened? What happened? What are you talking about?" Nadine asked.
"I woke up this morning in someone else's bedroom, looking like one of those Goth freaks. And now so do you."
"Paul, we aren't freaks. We're just different. You of all people understand that. Don't give in to the rest of society."
Paul took a step back. "What's wrong with you? You're acting like all of this is normal." Up until the previous night, Paul Anderson was friends with Nadine Ferguson and Tina Shepard and was just as much of a devout Baptist as them. But now, everything seemed to be different. And for some reason, Nadine didn't see it. "Is Tina different too?" he asked.
