Earlier that morning ...
"We have a problem, Karyn," Jon said, walking towards her. She was hanging out near the wall where he showed her the stone the previous day.
"What's up?" she asked.
"I can't find the stone."
"The what?"
Jon paused. Why didn't she remember the wishing stone? He thought back to the previous night and remembered that stupid wish he made - the one that was so vague that anything could have happened, as long as it was "interesting". Could Karyn's memory loss about the stone be the outcome of his wish? He didn't know. But he knew one thing - he lost an ally when it came to dealing with the stone. If she couldn't even remember the wishing stone, then she couldn't help him.
"Never mind," Jon finally said. He'd just have to figure this out for himself. But where should he start? It would have been nice to have a friend to help him.
After Larry got dressed, he left the club in search for the women who would soon become his newest strippers.
