As Jon, Athena, and Zelda entered the school, he pulled Zoe's phone from his pocket, looking at the time. Ten minutes till classes start. he thought. That means I need to find myself quickly.

He turned and started walking down a hallway, planning to head toward the spot that he and Karyn usually met up. However, he was halted by Athena's voice.

"Where are you going?" she asked. "We need to get to homeroom."

"Uh, I need to get something out of my locker." Jon replied. "Just go on without me. I'll catch up in a minute."

"Okay." Zelda said. "Just don't drag your feet too much. You know how Mrs. Filch likes to bitch anyone who's late out."

Jon just nodded as he continued along his way. He was thankful that his sister's friends didn't try to follow or question him further. He doubted he would have been able to keep from raising their suspicions any further, and having them along would make any sort of meeting with the other him much more difficult.

As he thought about that, he slowed his pace, realizing he didn't have any sort of actual plan for how to get the stone. If he was honest with himself, he would be hesitant to listen to someone claiming what had happened to him had happened to them, and if he came out and asked for the stone, the other him may just use it to take care of the situation.

Jon completely stopped at the set of doors that led out to the school yard. Looking out the window, he could see them. Karyn, with her wished up blonde hair, and himself. They looked to be having a serious discussion, more than likely about the stone. He didn't think either of them was holding the stone, which meant that he wouldn't be able to run up and just grab it.

He sighed in frustration. The solution to his problem, which he had been freaking out over all morning, was literally within his sight, and he didn't see any way to actually get it.

Okay, I would definitely keep the stone with me. Not in my locker. Jon thought. The school made people share lockers, to accommodate the high number of students. Jon, himself, rarely used his locker at all, preferring to just carry his belongings with him. The only time he ever used a locker in the school was...

"Gym class!" Jon said to himself. He then looked around to see if anyone had overheard him, but the hallway was, luckily, mostly deserted.

There's no way I would ever just take the stone into gym class with me. There's too much of a chance that it'll get knocked away from me. I'd keep it in my gym locker.

Jon's plotting was momentarily interrupted when a bell rang throughout the school, signifying that students only had a few minutes to get to their homerooms. He looked, once again, toward Karyn and himself as they walked away from the small wall.

He turned and began walking back toward where he had parted ways with Athena and Zelda. He nodded to himself slightly, cementing his plan in his mind. I have gym third period. All I need to do is wait till then, and I can sneak into the locker room and get the stone. he thought. Then, this nightmare will end.

He reached the spot whee he had last seen Athena and Zelda, and paused, realizing that he was unsure where Zoe's homeroom was. After a quick search of her backpack, Jon found Zoe's entire schedule inside one of her notebooks.

He tucked the schedule into his pocket and headed to her homeroom. He had been hoping that Zoe had study hall third period, but it turned out she had math. No problem. he thought. I'll just head to the gym right away. I won't need to deal with the consequences either way.

He found Zoe's homeroom easily and headed inside. Third period better come fast...
