PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN ONLINE!
Jon quickly signed in his username and password, then logged in. A new box then replaced the first with a loading bar in the middle, which quickly filled and the screen went black for a few seconds. Then a night time scene of a dock faded into view, the sounds of waves crashing on the shore came from the speakers. A menu hung from a rope in the middle of the screen with the logo and title of the game, Jon's account name, and four empty character slots. Jon clicked the first empty slot and the screen changed to an underwater background with a box in the middle, depicting a ship to ship battle between Pirates and the Royal Navy, with a small loading box attached to the bottom. Jon waited patiently for it to finish loading, all the while pirate theme music played in the background.
Once it finished loading the screen went black and the music stopped playing. Then slowly, the face of Jack Sparrow faded into view. The pirate seemed to be starring directly at Jon as it looked like he was kneeling over him, the barred door of a jail cell could be seen behind him over his shoulder. Jack blinked and then spoke:
"Aren't you a sight? Hmm, you look how I feel, mate. Here, pull yourself together." Jack said as he grabbed an arm and pulled Jon's pirate character to his feet - the screen switching from first person to third person point-of-view. Jon's character was a default young male, wearing a plain outfit and didn't look like much. The screen then faded black for a second, then back showing the character creation screen. The screen showed Jon's default character on the left side with the word Rotate underneath and on the right side of the screen was a wooden panel with the selection's for Gender, Shape, a Height slider, Skin Tone, and Random Feature. Below the panel were two buttons; Random All and Next.
Jon sat there thinking for a few minutes and then began to design his character...
