After waiting a few minutes for something to happen, in which nothing seemed to have happened, Jon decided to try out the new computer game he had just bought over the break.
"I can't believe I still haven't played this game yet," Jon mumbled to himself as he sat down in his computer chair and started up the computer. Once it finished warming up, Jon moved the cursor over to the icon on the desktop for the new game and double clicked it. The cursor went from an arrow to an hourglass for a few seconds and then the screen went black, then a box - A roughly sketched map on parchment as the background and wooden beams tied together by rope as the frame - appeared. The word LOADING written in stylized script faded into view in the middle of the box, along with a loading bar below it.
As soon as the orange colored bar reached the end, the sound of a horn blasted from the speakers, followed by background music. The box had vanished from the screen, leaving it black once more for a few seconds - it was then that Jon noticed that the mouse cursor had changed in style with the game.
