Jon came downstairs and sashayed towards the kitchen, before stopping himself. What the hell? He couldn't just walk normally? He concentrated and tried to walk like he used to and it worked, but he could tell that he was doing something that was out of character for him. Jeez, this was ridiculous.

"Oh, there you are, sweetie," he heard his mom say, upon entering the kitchen. Everyone was there, sitting around the table, and he could identify every one of them ... from their faces at least. It seemed that, just like himself, everyone's age and gender remained the same, but almost everything else was different.

His sister Zoe was no longer Goth in the slightest. She wore a bright red Pokemon T-shirt (obviously from Mikey) and had her hair formed into pigtails with pink bows (obviously from Sally). She seemed uncharacteristically bubbly and kind of ditzy. He supposed that that was what happened when you gave Sally's mood and mental state to a teenager. But Zoe didn't seem stupid or retarded, just a bit airheaded and definitely happy.

And his mom ... she seemed to be wearing Zoe's clothes, like her corset and tattered skirt, but the outfit wasn't dark colored. Instead, it was white. It's like she was going for the Goth look, but kept away from all the Goth colors. The rest of her seemed normal enough. Although, if things were still changing, that might not be true soon. He briefly wondered if that was what she was wearing for today, because as a secretary at a law firm, that didn't seem like appropriate attire. Perhaps she worked somewhere else?

Sally was reading a book, something gothic (one of Zoe's, by the looks of it) and was occasionally getting annoyed by Mikey, causing her to cuss at him. Mikey himself didn't seem too different either, except that he was busy using the laptop computer set up on the kitchen table. And he was using it like he had been using it for years, typing away like a pro. What exactly was he using it for anyway? Jon couldn't see the screen from where he was standing, but he was sure it wasn't a computer game.

And his aunt? She was watching TV. Jon guessed that his mom had one of her morning talk shows on again and Sharon had nothing better to do than watch. But her reactions to it were all wrong.

On the TV, there was a very manly guy kissing a very sexy woman and it made Sharon whine. "Eww, that's gross."

Jon blinked. His aunt was notorious for being known as a total flirt. She was constantly hitting on guys, wanting to date them. Maybe she was feeling the loss of her ex-husband? But now, apparently, she thought romance and even sex was gross. He wondered which one she got that trait from? It had to be either Mikey or Sally.

Looking back at the TV screen, Jon's dick stiffened at seeing the hot guy on the screen. He had a flash in his mind of being held by the stud and feeling so safe and so loved. He blinked suddenly.

Oh no! What the fuck?! I'm gay now? No, no, no! I can't be! He turned away from the TV quickly. He felt both scared and angry. Angry at the stone for doing this to him (angry at himself for being so stupid to make such a vague wish like that, too) and scared about his life at school now. If everyone knew he was gay (and who wouldn't think that just by looking at him?), he was in big trouble. He knew that certain guys (like Steve Farber and Randy Goodman, not to mention a bunch of other jocks) preyed on the handful of gays at the school. It's like they made it their mission to bully them. Jon recalled that just last week that emo kid Derek Lettman got sent to the nurse's office because of one of his run-ins with one of them. Jon wasn't sure if Derek was gay or not, but it didn't matter if he was or not. If the bullies thought you were, then you were. (As it turns out, Derek is gay, by the way.)

Jon realized that it made sense that his sexual orientation might have changed. After all, of all the people living in his house, there were only two males (one who didn't have any sexual urges, yet) and four females (again, one who didn't have any sexual urges). That was basically one male to three females, two females who were older and had more developed sexuality. He had a greater chance of being attracted to males than to females. And judging by his reaction to that studly guy on the TV, Jon figured that he had acquired the sexual urges that belonged to his aunt. Now he was the flirt!

He shook his head. Why did this have to be happening to him?

"Are you okay, sweetie?" his mom asked. "Come on, sit down and have something to eat."

Jon wasn't sure what to do. Should he settle down and have some breakfast or just get out of there? Maybe he could contact Karyn, if she even knew who he was in this new messed up reality. Were they even friends? He always had a crush on her and thought that if he waited until the right time, he could ask her out. But now ... if he was gay, none of that would ever happen. He felt like crying. Momentarily, he wondered if the urge to cry was another trait he got from one of his family members, or if it belonged to himself.

That stone really screwed up his life.
