20 minutes later the stone seemed content with Zoe’s explanation, and she was finally allowed to stop speaking.
“So… what are you going to do, you have the stone right there and I didn’t loop you in on the whole thing I was doing with it,” Zoe said.
“Honestly, that was absolutely devious. Don’t get me wrong I am disappointed that you didn’t come to me with this whole discovery but as long as I’m in on the whole twisting wishes in amusing ways, I’m fine with it. Just… please don’t do something like this again. We get into trouble together not apart.”
“whew. I honestly thought you were going to curse me or something.”
“I’d never do that. Well, actually, I take that back. I can see some scenarios where I would have but that didn’t happen so it's fine. Here take the stone” Athena said, tossing the stone at Zoe who was barely able to catch it. “Wish me into the whole twisting wishes thing. This is going to be awesome” said Athena with a mischievous glimmer in her eye.

Early Morning next day
Zoe called Jon not long after to tell them that Athena and her were headed to the mall. So Karyn drove Jon back to her place to spend the night.
That hadn’t wished for anything except for everyone to remember Jon being called Jen.
And she was feeling pretty smug with how many times she got Jen off and all of her failed attempts to assert “dominance”. Jen just wasn’t the dom kind of person no matter how many times she tried to deny it.
She had woken up before Jen had and Jen was still snuggled up with her. Contently pulling her fingers through Jen’s hair as she slept. Recently the wishes had not been coming out how they’d wished. Which was a strange phenomenon, she had tried to ask the stone for an answer but received no response. Still, it wasn’t like they were turning out badly in the end. Just ended up manifesting in unexpected ways. Karyn was thinking that maybe she should exploit this.
She lay there for a few minutes thinking of what she would wish for then. Something vague enough the outcome was unknown but still carefully constrained so that it wouldn’t backfire.
“I wish that Sarah would face some kind of repercussions for how she has bullied Jen and me over the years. But in a way that ultimately makes her a better person and turns out positively for Jen and me in the end.” The stone flashed. Well, guess she’d see how this would turn out.
“Hey, you’re supposed to wait for me before you wish” Jen groaned. Barely awake. “I think it's still a good idea but still. But it's supposed to be something we’re doing together.”
“Alright, alright. I’ll make sure to consult you next time okay?”
“Okay.”
Karyn was broken from her thoughts as she heard someone running up the stairs. Shit, she was still naked and in bed with Jen. She did the only thing she could think of at the moment. Make another wish.
“I wish that the Gibson family wouldn’t find it strange that I’m Jen’s bed with both of us naked.”
The stone flashed again and the door to Jen’s bedroom slammed open.
“Looks like the dominatrix has graced us with her presence,” Zoe said, bowing extravagantly.
“Hey, it isn’t like that okay.” Jen quickly retorted.
“Well, maybe not exactly that but we all know who the top is between you two,” making Jen blush unable to refute the truth, “Thin walls you know,” Zoe said tapping on the hollow drywall. “Anyway, breakfast is ready. Mom’s leaving early for a business meeting in the city and wanted you to know she was still able to prepare it for you. Anyway, see ya love birds.” Zoe said slamming the door shut.
“Well, I guess because of the wish your whole family knows what we have been getting up to.”
“Great, I just know I’m going to get teased by Zoe about being the little spoon or whatever shit she thinks up. Ugh. We probably should start getting ready for school… Unless you want to go again” Jen mumbled the last part struggling to keep eye contact with Karyn.
She didn’t even dignify it with a response. Just pounced on her, easily holding Jen down, eliciting a startled gasp. She could get used to this.

Zoe couldn’t help but smirk. This was open to so much interpretation. She soon felt Athena on their weird psychic connection they had wished for the previous day.
“OOOHH this is perfect. I think I have the best idea! What if… Sarah fell in love with Jen. Come on isn’t that the greatest. It would be super sweet. You know the whole enemies to friends to lovers thing. Also, it would be super funny to watch.”
Zoe’s mouth dropped for a second. That was indeed good, but she could iterate on it and make it much, much better. Ohhh yes this… this would be beautiful.
“Okay, Athena this is how we are going to interpret it…”
