Jon woke up to the sound of metal clanking. He felt oddly uncomfortable, like he was sleeping on cardboard. He opened his eyes to find himself in an unfamiliar room. The next thing he noticed was he was naked and there weren't any blankets.

He sat up quickly and banged his head on the metal ceiling. "Gah, that hurts."

"I see you're awake," a strange voice said. Jon noticed it wasn't speaking English, but he could still understand it. He turned to the speaker.

He, she, it, Jon wasn't sure what it was. It was roughly human-shaped, but the form kept on shifting, like its skin was made of fluid jelly. Jon could see it's organs swimming in its body around the bones, like little fish in a tank. Jon let out a wordless scream, scooting as far away as possible from the creature.

"Jon, is that you?" a familiar voice said above him. Karyn; she sounded very groggy, like she just woke up. "Why are you screaming? Where are . . ." She must of saw the creature, since she let out a high-pitched screech.

"Enough of the screaming; I'm not going to hurt you," the creature said. That did little to comfort Jon, and apparently Karyn, since they kept on screaming. "Forget this."

The creature shot a strange gel substance over Jon's mouth. The room went silent. Jon felt himself be lifted up, carried, and sat down in a chair. Karyn was right next to him; she was also naked, but Jon was too out of it to even take a second thought.

"Ah, much better," the creature said. "I can perceive that you guys are scared. Guess I should explain what's going on. Nod if you understand." Jon made an uncertain nod.

"Good," the creature said as it sat in an open chair. It's form began to shift. The skin softened and no longer see-through. Soon, it looked very much like a human guy, though the skin still looked a little too soft, and it didn't have any clothes on. "Hope that makes you more comfortable."

It did help; even though he was still terrified, Jon felt himself visibly relax, even though he knew the person in front of him wasn't human.

"Now, where should I start . . ."
