Jon grabbed his backpack and ran out to the bus which had just pulled up outside, only peripherally aware of his heels clicking on the kitchen floor and then the pavement outside, his breasts jiggling, his butt swinging. He climbed up onto the bus with a practiced ease he himself had never practiced, looking in distress at the identical bodies on everyone on the bus. No one else was aware of it.

How do they not notice? he asked himself, aware of the answer but frustated; he absently smoothed his skirt underneath him before he sat down next to Karyn. Even she had the same body, except for the obvious difference. "Do you see anything different today?" he asked experimentally, dreading the answer he knew he'd get.

"Uh... nope, why?" Karyn asked. Her eyes narrowed. "Did you do something?"

"No, no," he replied, "Just wondering. Promise."

"You sure?" she asked, eyes still narrowed. "You always recross your legs when you're lying."

"Do I?" he laughed nervously. He hadn't noticed. "We'll talk about it at school."

Karyn scowled but nodded, and turned away from him.

Jon clasped and unclasped his hands in his lap and toyed with the hem of his skirt, sneaking a glance at his friend every now and again. After a long silence, the bus stopped and everyone started filing out. He eagerly took the excuse to look away from her.

They met at the usual spot, a classroom right inside that had never, as far as Jon knew, seen use. "Okay," he said, blushing, "I did make a wish, but it was really vague, and really stupid so please don't tell me how stupid it was. I know. I wished for something interesting."

Karyn nodded, "Yeah, so..." realization dawned on her face. "Oh, my God. You are a complete fucking idiot, Jon, have I ever told you that? The absolute dumbest person alive. You just gave the stone carte blanche to do whatever the hell it wanted with your life and everyone else's!" she screamed, uncaring of who heard.

"I know, I know," Jon winced. "And I think I know what happened. I'm the only one who's noticed. Even you haven't. Makes sense since you didn't hear the wish."

She waited for a moment, nodding. "Yeah... what is it? Do I have to ask?"

Jon gulped. Saying the words was harder than he thought. The very idea still freaked him out, thinking about how badly, realistically, he'd screwed up the town. "You, uh... you've all got the same body. I mean, below the neck. Only difference I can see is you, Karyn, your wish. Even the same clothes, except they're too small on you."

Karyn stared at Jon, slack-jawed. "What are you talking about? Jon, you know we've all..."
