Karyn picked up one of the listings magazines that where lying on the coffee table and looked at the listing for today's episode of "Jefferson Lake". "Jon I think you should look at this" she said while handing him the magazine. There in the cast list in place of "Doctor Alexandra Bolton", was now "Doctor Jane Bolton".
Jon turned to Karyn trying hard to hold back the tears that were now forming and uttered one word to her "Help". Before resting his head in his hands once more.
With Jon almost in tears Karyn knew it was time for her to take charge. "I wish to know how we have until the exchange between Alex and Jane is complete" she asked to anyone who was listening while holding the stone. Out of nowhere came a voice that said "Two Hours until reality has realigned completely" Two hours she thought not long until only her and Jon would know that Alex was not Jon's mom.
She thought for a second longer and then made another wish. "I wish to know why the TV is no longer trying to pull people in" She asked the stone. Once again the voice came back with a reply "The energy needed to open the window between the fictional universe and the real universe needs to recharge".
Karyn then turned to her friend who had been sitting all this time with his head in his hands. "Come on Jon we need to put our thinking caps on and we don't have a lot of time left" Karyn said to Jon. "You mean there is still time to save my mom" Jon asked. "What do you mean Jon" asked Alex. "I am you mother me Alexandra Madison no one else" she continued. Jon turned to Karyn and said quietly "Now what do I do she thinks she is my mom." "We get creative " replied Karyn.
