"You somehow traded places with my mom. Now you're real, and she's...in a TV show. I know that sounds crazy, but..."
She picked up a nearby photo. "That's her with you..." she said. Suddenly, she blinked. The woman was gone, replaced by Alex in the picture.
Jon saw it too. "We need to figure out how to get my mother back before you completely replace her," he said. He moved to touch the TV. The screen was solid. he didn't feel the pull he'd felt before. This was not going to be easy.
I need to do something before I lose track of Mom and Alex takes her place here he thought. Then all at once it hit him he grabbed the TiVo remote and pressed record at least that way he would be able to get back to his mom when he was ready to try and fix the problem his wish had created.
"What are we going to do asked Alex. I want to get back to my life as soon as I can". "I'm not sure yet replied Jon. I'm working on it M.." Its getting worse he thought I almost called her mom. "Alex" he said concentrating as hard as he could not to call her mom. "You stay here I am going to make a call that will get us some help" Jon said. And with that Jon turned and ran upstairs to his bedroom and the rock.
Jon reached his room in record time. He grabbed the rock and began to make the wishes that he thought might help. "I wish that I will always remember the woman who was here before Alex showed up as my Mother" Jon said. He knew now he needed help and there was only one person that he could think of turning to and that was Karyn. "I wish Karyn was here right now. I also wish that she knows what has happened so far this evening and will remember things the way before they changed as well". With his wishing finished Jon let out a sigh hoping that Karyn would be able to help him.
