As Jon walked downstairs to his front door, he was surprised to see Sarah McMillan, Tiffany Sanders, and Melissa Smith. They were all members of the cheerleading squad and three of the sexiest and most popular girls in school. But they were also total bitches towards Jon and Karyn. Why were they at his house? And why did his mom think they were his friends?
"What are you doing here?" Jon asked.
"We're here to pick you up," Melissa said. "Just like always."
"Is this some sort of a prank?" Jon asked.
"What do you mean?" Tiffany asked.
Jon looked closely at them. They certainly weren't acting like jerks, which was how they usually acted towards him. Could it be that this was the result of his vague wish? If Sarah and her friends were his friends now, then what happened to Karyn?
"Come on, Jon," Sarah said, getting impatient. "Let's go now."
