There was a Mrs. DeVries behind the wheel, but it wasn't Steve Farber. It was someone else. Someone he didn't recognize immediately, but after he got a little closer, he saw who it was.

It was Karyn! How lucky was that?

He ran up to the car, smiling. "Karyn, you have no idea how good it is to see you." She was older and she was wearing Mrs. DeVries' clothes, but it was definitely Karyn. She even still had her wished-up blond hair and larger breasts.

The fake Mrs. DeVries looked at Jon oddly. "What are you on about?" she asked, completely clueless as to why Jon was calling her "Karyn".

"Uh ... nothing," he said. His excitement died down, as began to realize that Karyn wasn't really Karyn. Not yet, anyway. Not until he got her home. And now that she was right here, that was going to happen sooner than he originally thought. All he'd have to do is convince her to drive him to the Black residence, convince her to come inside, and then pull her into Karyn's room. It worked with Steve.

The fake Mrs. DeVries looked at her watch. "Are you ready to go home, hon?" she asked the fake Athena.

The fake Athena glanced at Jon, then nodded. "More than ever." Then she walked towards the car, meaning to get inside.

"Wait," Jon said. "I need to go somewhere else."

"This isn't a taxi," the fake Mrs. DeVries said, frowning.

"I know. But this is really important."
