"Fine," the fake Athena said, giving in. "What do you need me to do?"
"Well," Jon began. "We could start by helping Steve."
The fake Athena looked confused. "Who's Steve?"
"Your mother."
"Wait a minute. Are you saying that my mother is a man?"
"First of all, she's not really your mother, remember? And second, Steve is someone who goes to school with me. His name is Steve Farber and ..."
"Steve Farber? I know him."
"Oh yeah, that's right. You're a freshman. I forgot."
"My mom is Steve Farber?" she said to herself, working it out in her head, but still not believing it. She knew Steve. Maybe not as well as some girls, but almost everyone knew about "The Stud". She just couldn't believe that a womanizer like him was now a woman. But not just any woman. He was her mom.
"I know where Steve lives. Maybe if we get him back home, I can get your real mother back."
The fake Athena thought it over. As far as she was concerned, Steve (as Jon was calling her) was her mother. But if what Jon was saying was true, it would be best if she got her original mother back and Steve was returned to normal, no matter how much Athena detested his womanizing tendencies.
"Well?" Jon asked. "How 'bout it?"
