The moment Jon stepped back into his bedroom, his eyes immediately landed on the thing lying on his nightstand - it was the wishing stone! He had been so wrapped up in doing whatever his "mommy" told him to do, so focused on her, that he never got a chance to really pay attention to the details of his own bedroom in this reality.
He walked over to the stone, his core self taking control of his actions again, albeit maybe only temporarily, then picked it up. Without a second to waste, he wished to know what was happening, and the stone told him. That careless wish he had made caused an inter-dimensional rift to be formed, right there in his house. It was closed now, but every night, it would open and send Jon to different reality, changing his body and possibly his mind to fit the new reality, but keeping him aware that things were different. Of course, Jon wished to be taken back to his original reality, but for some reason, the stone wouldn't grant his wish. Frustrated, he then wished for the rift to be open right now so that it would send him to a different reality, even if it wasn't the one he originally came from. Whatever the next reality was, it had to be better than this one ... right?
And then it happened. The rift opened and pulled Jon into it ... but without the stone!
So what reality did Jon find himself in this time, and would he even have access to the wishing stone in this other reality?
