As Jon was examining her changed body, she felt even stranger than when first entering Zoe's body. She found she now had a more conservative, less gothic look than before, and that included a small purse on her shoulder. Jon opened it up and found some foreign currency that was very colorful and had an Asian man's face on it. There was some lipstick and mascara, and a laminated card. Jon pulled it out and read, "Xiao Lee... this is one student year visa for Xiao Lee. I from China now! I foreign exchange student!"
"Jon, you've even developed a Chinese accent, that's so adorable," Zoe laughed as Jon scowled at her.
"I cannot help it, Engrish not easy for me anymore," Jon complained. "Try 'nother spell, switch bodies."
"No way, I don't want to be an exchange student who can't speak English well!"
At that moment their mother walked in. "Now Jon, that's no way to greet our new exchange student! Xaio speaks very good English considering it's her second language, and I don't want you putting down her efforts."
Zoe, in Jon's body, grinned at Jon in her body and said "I'm sorry Xaio, I'm sure you'll learn a lot of English during your year here, we're so happy that you're here."
Jon could tell that their mother's reality had been altered by the spell, so she had no choice but to play along in front of her. "I happy to be here too, Mrs Madison."
"This will be so much fun," their mom said, hugging Jon's petite body. "I love Jon, of course, but I've always wanted a daughter to do girly things with, take her shopping, to the spa, dress her up... come with me, we're going to get you some new clothes for school."
Jon was mortified, but put on a smile and said "Thank you very much, Mrs Madison, I applech... appre... I like that." Damn this lack of English was annoying.
