Unfortunately for Jon, his vaguely-worded wish was already at work. It was working not on him, but on the rest of his family.
In order to make Jon's life "interesting", the stone entered the dreams of everyone else in his house, spilling its secrets to them and tempting them with its powers.
Overnight, every other member of Jon's immediate family gained not only the knowledge of the stone's existence, its rules and limitations, but also the thirst to have and use that power to fulfil their own desires.
By the break of dawn, each of Jon's relatives believed that they alone knew his secret and were prepared to stop at nothing to find the stone and take that power from him.
But who in the Gibson household would awake first?
