Jon knew he had to try but wasn't sure how he'd do it, but would think.
Right now he had to get to school. he grabbed his stuff, got breakfast and headed out.
At school he met up with Karyn, he told her he left the stone at home today and they'd have to deal with her breast issue later, and that he had something he needed to do.
Karyn was left confused, Jon seemed to be nervous about something, and he was in quite a rush, she wondered if it had something to do with the stone.
Jon wandered the halls until he spotted Sarah Mcmillan at her Locker, luckily she was alone, she was usually with her friends or boys.
he made his way over to her, nervous, still not sure what he was gonna say.
Sarah noticed Jon standing near her and said with an attitude
"Can I help you?" she scoffed
"uh- actually.... I heard you were having a get together tonight..."
"yeah... and?" she replied getting short with him.
"Is.... there any way I could.... come?" he blurted out.
"What?! seriously? why would I want you there, first of all I'm just having girls over, im not even inviting my guy friends, secondly I don't even like you, why would I possibly want you over?"
Jon knew that this would be her response, but still tried "please please! let me come ill do anything."
"no way, Jon! The only way you'd get invited is if you were wearing a skirt and heels." she said off hand.
Jon saw an opening, he didn't want to but he had no choice.
"well... what if... I was?"
"you were what?" she asked, confused and getting frustrated.
"li-like you said wearing a skirt and heels..."
Sarah cocked her eyebrows. and laughed. and said "You know what Jon. If you want to come so much, If you arrive at my house fully dressed in girls clothes then yes I'll let you join. Ill let you know later exactly what you should do before coming over...."
Jon wasn't sure to be relieved or fearful, sure he'd gotten an invite, but at what cost, not to mention he still had to go and stay all night. but at least he was one step closer to finishing the task and getting the stone back.
