Heading downstairs to the kitchen, he found his father making breakfast, and his sister Zoe and brother Mikey were already there.
"And the princess finally finished preparing and graces us with his presence." Zoe remarked.
"Shut up, Zoe." Jon responded with a frown. He had never really gotten along with his nerdy sister. Of course, it was only natural since he was a cheerleader and she was a nerd.
"Now you two, please at least try not to argue at the table." his father said as he placed breakfast on the table for them.
"Yeah, yeah." Jon said as he ate. He glared at Zoe, but said nothing. He always wondered how he could be related to someone like her. She even dressed like the stereotypical nerd. He then shifted his gaze to his younger brother, Mikey. He got along with him a bit better than his sister. Mikey was currently looking at one of his many dolls.
Once done, he put his dish in the sink, and saw a car pull up in front of the house. "Sarah is here to pick me up." he said and grabbed his stuff for school and headed out the door.
