Suddenly, Lydia tripped, but was able to catch herself. At first, she thought she might have tripped over a loose rock or something, but when she looked behind her, there were no obstacles in her path. She scratched her chin, wondering what had happened. And that was when she noticed that there was something wrong. Her chin felt quite a bit more ... doughy than normal. Out of all the teachers at the grade school, Lydia was one of the fittest. Her morning jogs (and occasional afternoon ones, like the one today) were the main reason for that. But now, all of a sudden, she wasn't fit at all. She didn't know what was happening, but she was getting noticeably chubbier in a matter of seconds.
Panicking, she ran directly home. But as time went on, it was more and more difficult to move. And by the time she got home, she was severely winded for what should have been an easy run. She looked down at herself and was shocked to see that her belly had expanded. No, she wasn't pregnant. That was all fat.
She barged into her house and grabbed the phone. She needed to call 911 ... but what would she tell the police? They might think she was insane, saying that she gained at least one hundred and fifty pounds within five minutes.
She looked at herself in a nearby mirror and dropped the phone in shock. Was that her? Her face was the same, but the rest ...
How could something like this happen to her? She collapsed to the floor and cried.
What Lydia didn't know was that Mikey had a hard time concentrating in class because of her. He had a crush on her, because she was so beautiful. So to grant her unspoken wish, the stone made her relatively unattractive. She wasn't obese, but she was way fatter than she was before. And certainly, Mikey wouldn't be attracted to her now.
