"I'm going to head to the bathroom for a bit," Gary said. "Be right back."
"'Kay," Catherine said, not looking at Gary. If she looked at him, she would blush and get more confused than she already was.
She sat alone on a bench, trying to sort out her feelings. She couldn't deny that she was attracted to Gary now, but she knew it came from the card. It was like having an artificial emotion placed within her. Gary was her boyfriend, there was no getting around that, but did she have to want to do things with him? People date without holding hands, flirting, and . . . kissing, right? She grasped at that straw with all her might.
"Hey, there," a voice said, breaking her train of thought. Catherine looked up to see two guys a little bit older than she was standing next to her. "You're looking pretty lonely sitting by yourself."
Catherine stared at them blankly. It had only been an hour since she had been a girl, and she was already getting hit on. "I'm actually waiting for my boyfriend right now." She winced at those words; painful but true.
"Oh really," the first guy said. "Well, mind if we keep you company until he gets back?"
"Be my guest," Catherine said, scooting over to make room on the bench.
"So," the second guy said, "we were wondering if you went to a private school, or something like that."
"What? No," Catherine said, but then she remembered she was wearing a school uniform. A small idea popped into her head; she could have fun with these guys. "My boyfriend gave me these clothes; he likes to see me dress up, if you know what I mean." Catherine unbuttoned another button, so her cleavage was on full display. She leaned forward to add extra effect.
"I, um, see," the second guy said, clearly entranced by her bosom. He tried to look away, but failed.
"What about you guys," Cathrine said, moving closer to the first guy who was sitting next to her. "Do you always swoop in to save lonely girls at the mall?" Her breasts touched his arm as she looked at him earnestly in the eyes.
"No, I mean, yes, I mean, what?" the first guy stuttered.
"Catherine?"
Everybody looked up to see Gary standing over them. He had a very shocked expression; however, Catherine it it was fake and he was only holding back a smirk.
Realization washed over Catherine about what had happened. She stood up, saying, "Gary, you prick!" Gary took off and Catherine chased after him.
The two guys sat there in silence for moment.
"Um, what was that?"
"It looked like the girl got mad at her boyfriend for him catching her flirting with us."
"That's what I thought. That chick be crazy."
