There is a banging at the door, "Jon are you okay in there, we heard some noises." The worry was clear as a bell in her voice.
"Don't come in! I've changed." her voice sounded exotic in her panic.
"Is that you Jon?" the voice asked a little more timidly.
He saw the door handle start to move, "Yes, it's me mum. Don't come in the blinds are broken... I broke them." his voice tailed off.
"If you just go back downstairs I'll join you in a minute, I just need to gather my thoughts."
The face in the mirror was intimidating her. Even though she knew it was herself there. Jon found her pensive look very seductive, and he was damned sure that Uhura would never have thought of herself doing those things. She tried to clear her mind to stop herself freaking out.
"Jambo mum" The words, just came to him. She smiled at her reflection, Jon knew Swahili. The idea of being multilingual appealed to the beautiful woman.
She thought back over her childhood, and it was all there. The teasing of Mikey, the bullying at school. But on top of that there was a wealth of knowledge.
"今日� �", "Bonjour Mere.", "Buon Giorno." Wow, Japanese, French, Italian. Jon found watching her lips as she spoke to be very distracting they were just so sexual. Here eyes were glacial pools of intrigue too.
She licked her lips nervously, and Jon felt himself become wet, and his nipples poked visibly through his uniform. Wow this feels different, she thought.
Tentatively she opened the door, carefully peaking around to see that nobody was there, and closing it carefully behind herself.
The world had changed, and now Jon had changed too. The thought of six months in this body with this knowledge was looking more and more fun to Jon. He eagerly but slowly descended the stairs. The changes that would happen to his family and friends would make some interesting friends, and maybe even bedfellows.
Jon was eager to call Karyn and see if she had changed yet. Wow... yet... it was inevitable, staying out the sun for six months just wouldn't be possible. Mikey was gobsmacked, and his dad and mum were hugging on the sofa.
Jon thought they were relieved that at least he was still human. Some of the scarier incidents had appeared on the news, with some becoming inhuman creatures.
