"I know. I'm that kind of person." - Said Hermes, giving Lucas a cocky grin.
"Yes, and modest as well." - Said Neruite - "We certainly put that family through the wringer, though."
"It helped them, did it not?" - Said Hermes.
"It did." - Said Neruite, smiling.
"Well... What's next?" - Asked Lucas.
"Now" - Said Hermes - "You prepare for the next battle. But first you rest. You shouldn't make it your sole hobby to play hero..."
"It's not like I get nothing from it, y'know." - Said Lucas.
"Still. The last battle should be fairly soon..." - Said Hermes.
Lucas nodded.
"Yeah... I wonder about... Well, afterwards..."
Anneza had finally gotten somewhat of a hang on the very basics of English and on the numbers system - base 10. Slowly she rebuilt her life, selling photos of the stratosphere and beyond as well as making a small documentary on her life - one in her language, though.
