Tetra paused for a moment, remembering something, and looked at Melanie.
"How did you know where those nuts came from, Melanie?"
Melanie looked evenly at Tetra.
"I did not."
"You said they were Brazilian."
"I said they were not from here." - Said Melanie - "There was... Brazilian in them. Energy. Definition. But they are not from the place referred to as Brazil."
"Mmm. Psychic impression, maybe?" - Wondered Tetra.
Melanie nodded.
"Unintentional."
"I see..." - Said Tetra.
But what kind of power would it take to leave such an impression unintentionally? - The cat thought.
Lucas sneezed.
It made sense. She was within Cass's anime field as Cass prepared, in an otherwise empty room, to get to her second class.
"Mmm. Mental note, find out who's been talking about me later." - Said the currently anime-rendered angel.
"Lucas, this is huge!" - Said Cass - "One of my students changed the Sun... I can't believe it..."
"Cass, at what point did you expect 'normal'?" - Asked Lucas, smirking - "Reality's been out to lunch for weeks. Which brings me to my next question... Do you happen to know someone, anyone, that would make me able to live in an actual moon-style environment and somehow help me reach said place?"
Cass smirked herself.
"Being an anime? Yes. Yes, I do. The perfect contrived thing to help you along. I'm teaching the next class to both Jon, of course I won't expose her, and Matt..."
"And Matt is?" - Asked Lucas.
"Matt, also known as Sider." - Said Cass in a tone of presentation as her anime field made a stylized picture of him in classic mad scientist garb and pose appear. - "The nickname comes from 'Outsider'. Sider is a mad scientist now. While I cannot promise anything, I will approach him. I will only tell him what he needs to know..."
The explanation was cut short when Lucas bit her own tongue.
"Ow." - Said Lucas as she stepped outside Cass's field.
"What happened?" - Asked Cass.
"Was about to ask what could go wrong." - Said Lucas.
"Good call." - Said Cass - "I'll talk to Sider in private."
